Culture Building &
Ethnic Awareness Programme
If your organisation struggles to keep and retain black & ethnic talent, then a very likely cause is that your work environment is not as inclusive as you thought it might be.

Our CBEA programme aims to help law firms create and foster a Culture of Belonging for ethnically diverse talent.

The programme is based on the four pillars of cultural inclusivity and is designed for the entire firm to participate.

EthniCity Forums
It is paramount that your ethnically diverse talent has the space to exchange their experiences and views on the challenges they might face within your law firm or the industry as a whole. You do not know, what you do not know, so ask and provide the safe space they need.

EthniCity forums:
-
offer a safe space for ethnically diverse talent only;
-
are designed to encourage open, honest and effective conversation & exchange;
-
ultimately create strong connections amongst the group;
-
unlock hidden fears and concerns of being one of only a few diverse faces within the organisation; and
-
provide feedback & guidance by our industry experts (former City lawyers & qualified coaches).

The forums have become increasingly popular in the City due to the empowering and practical atmosphere they create.

"Vanessa raised some interesting points about what diversity and inclusion are, what it really means and how we can all help promote this in our firm. I would thoroughly enjoy more sessions hosted by Vanessa as I believe these are important conversations that we need to bring about the change we need in the profession".
